Full USMC PFT Calculator
Use this USMC PFT calculator to score your upper-body event, plank and run or authorized row. Choose the events you actually completed and enter the recorded results.
A base PFT pass requires all three event minimums and at least 150 points. Combat-arms Marines use male age tables for everyone and have a separate 210-point occupational requirement.
You’ll get your total, PFT class and event minimums, with the combat-arms requirement shown separately when it applies. The chart compares your three selected events so you can see where the score comes from.
What Your USMC PFT Score Means
Check each event minimum before reading your PFT class. Passing totals of 150–199 are third class, 200–234 are second class and 235–300 are first class. A combat-arms total of 150–209 can pass the base PFT while missing the separate occupational requirement.

Choose one upper-body event, plank and one aerobic event. Push-ups last two minutes and cap at 70 points, reducing the maximum total to 270; pull-ups allow a 300-point total.
Use altitude tables only at 4,500 feet or above after the required 30-day acclimatization period. Rowing below age 46 requires a medical recommendation and CO/OIC approval. The authorized row is 5,000 meters on a Concept2 with PM3 or later.
Recruits use the 17–20 age table; other trainees use their actual age. Enter recorded whole seconds for plank, run and row times.
Compare Your Event Scores
Compare your three selected event scores on a points scale. Each event has its own minimum marker, and the push-up alternative has a lower maximum than pull-ups.
The graph starts with the worked example below. Calculate above to replace it with your result; the table beneath the graph lists the same values.

How Your USMC Points Are Calculated
The calculator looks up the selected event results and adds their points. A plank time between two listed times gets the points for the shorter time. A run or row time between two listed times gets the points for the longer time. Enter recorded whole seconds.

A Complete Scoring Example
This example uses the male table at age 17 and general standard.
| Event | Recorded result | Points | Event minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pull-ups | 12 reps | 70 points | Met |
| Plank | 2:27 | 69 points | Met |
| 3-mile run | 22:50 | 70 points | Met |
The event scores add to 209 points. This meets the base full-test requirements.
Test Rules and Official Sources
These are the Marine Corps PFT tables, with the combat-arms policy effective January 1, 2026.
This is a practice calculation. A test administrator decides which repetitions, attempts and event choices are valid. Save the date and inputs with your result when you want to compare another practice test.
Are female pull-up minimums worth 40 points?
No. Current female pull-up minimums earn 60 points. Male pull-up minimums earn 40. Combat-arms scoring uses male age tables for every sex.
Can I combine pull-up and push-up points?
No. Choose one upper-body event before the test. Pull-ups can earn 100 points; push-ups cap at 70, so a push-up PFT has a 270-point maximum.
Why can the official web calculator disagree about a passing total?
The official calculator contains an outdated below-120 failure threshold. This tool follows the current order: a base PFT pass needs at least 150 points and every event minimum. Combat-arms Marines also have a separate 210-point requirement.
Can I save and compare practice results?
Save on this device keeps the date, recorded event results, category, target and rule version in this browser. A later matching practice compares points and the gap to your current target. Endura account saving is separate. Illustrative examples cannot be saved.
