USMC Pull-Up Standards Calculator

Use this USMC pull-up calculator to score your completed repetitions against the Marine Corps PFT table. Choose your age, scoring sex and general or combat-arms standard.

Pull-ups are untimed, and only valid repetitions count. Combat-arms Marines use male age tables for every sex; recruits use the 17–20 table.

You’ll see your points, your pull-up minimum and the repetitions needed for the next scoring step. The chart compares nearby counts for your category, while the full PFT remains a separate three-event result.

What Your USMC Pull-Up Score Means

Your points show how your pull-up count scores in the selected category. Female-table minimums earn 60 points and male-table minimums earn 40; meeting either minimum does not by itself pass the PFT.

Calculate above to see your result here.

Count untimed repetitions with full arm extension and the chin above the bar. Choose pull-ups or push-ups before the test; their points cannot be combined.

Use your age on the test date unless you are a recruit using the 17–20 table. Combat-arms scoring uses the male table regardless of sex.

How Repetitions Change Your Score

Keep the category fixed and compare nearby pull-up counts. The chart shows the points attached to each count, including any gap below the event minimum.

The graph starts with the worked example below. Calculate above to replace it with your result; the table beneath the graph lists the same values.

How Your USMC Points Are Calculated

The calculator uses the published pull-up table for your selected category. Pull-ups can earn up to 100 points; choosing the push-up alternative in a full PFT caps that component at 70.

Test Rules and Official Sources

These are the Marine Corps PFT tables, with the combat-arms policy effective January 1, 2026.

This is a practice calculation. A test administrator decides which repetitions, attempts and event choices are valid. Save the date and inputs with your result when you want to compare another practice test.

Are female pull-up minimums worth 40 points?

No. Current female pull-up minimums earn 60 points. Male pull-up minimums earn 40. Combat-arms scoring uses male age tables for every sex.

Can I combine pull-up and push-up points?

No. Choose one upper-body event before the test. Pull-ups can earn 100 points; push-ups cap at 70, so a push-up PFT has a 270-point maximum.

Why can the official web calculator disagree about a passing total?

The official calculator contains an outdated below-120 failure threshold. This tool follows the current order: a base PFT pass needs at least 150 points and every event minimum. Combat-arms Marines also have a separate 210-point requirement.

Can I save and compare practice results?

Save on this device keeps the date, recorded event results, category, target and rule version in this browser. A later matching practice compares points and the gap to your current target. Endura account saving is separate. Illustrative examples cannot be saved.
