Army 3RM Deadlift Standards Calculator
Use this Army deadlift calculator to score the weight you lifted for three repetitions in the AFT. Enter the recorded weight in pounds, your age and your scoring category.
Use the total event weight for a valid three-repetition attempt, including the bar. This scores the Army test; it does not estimate a one-repetition maximum or compare you with other gym lifters.
You’ll get your deadlift points, the minimum weight for your category and your next scoring step. Compare nearby weights in the chart and save the result to track the same test setup over time.
What Your Army Deadlift Score Means
Your score describes a completed three-repetition Army deadlift attempt. Read the recorded weight and category alongside the points before comparing two practice results.

Enter the total weight in pounds, including the bar and plates on both sides. Use the recorded weight from a valid three-repetition attempt rather than your bodyweight or an estimated maximum.
Keep the event equipment and technique consistent. The combat-specialty standard uses the male/combat age table for everyone.
How Deadlift Weight Changes Your Score
The chart holds your age and scoring standard fixed. It shows which nearby recorded weights earn the next score; it is not a recommendation to attempt the next weight.
The graph starts with the worked example below. Calculate above to replace it with your result; the table beneath the graph lists the same values.
Orange dot: example. Dashed line: event minimum.

How Your Army Points Are Calculated
The official table assigns points to recorded weights in pounds. If your weight falls between two listed weights, you receive the points for the lower one. This scores your three-repetition lift; it does not estimate your one-repetition maximum.

A Complete Scoring Example
This example uses the male table at age 17 and general standard.
| Event | Recorded result | Points | Event minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-repetition maximum deadlift | 150 lb | 60 points | Met |
The result earns 60 points for this event. The other test events must be scored separately.
Test Rules and Official Sources
The scoring tables are dated June 1, 2025; the current Army policy determines the general and combat-specialty requirements.
This is a practice calculation. A test administrator decides which repetitions, attempts and event choices are valid. Save the date and inputs with your result when you want to compare another practice test.
Does this estimate my one-repetition maximum?
No. It scores the recorded weight for the Army three-repetition maximum deadlift event. It does not convert that weight into an estimated 1RM.
What weight units should I enter?
Enter pounds, matching the official AFT scoring table. Use the recorded event weight, not bodyweight or the weight on only one side of the bar.
Can I save and compare practice results?
Save on this device keeps the date, recorded event results, category, target and rule version in this browser. A later matching practice compares points and the gap to your current target. Endura account saving is separate. Illustrative examples cannot be saved.
