Loaded carries challenge your grip, core, upper back, shoulders, hips, and legs as you walk with weight. Start with the carry strength calculators that match your equipment, where you held the weight, and whether you carried it on one side or both.
Each carry test works a little differently. The Farmer’s Walk calculator uses the weight in each hand and how far you can carry it in 30 seconds. Most of the other carry calculators compare how much weight you can carry for 20 meters. Follow the instructions on the calculator so your result is accurate.
Results from different carry exercises do not mean the same thing. Use the comparison tools to see how your strength ranks across two variations, not to assume the same number of pounds represents the same performance. The Farmer’s Walk age and gender information adds context but does not change your score.

Open calculatorHow to compare carry strength correctly
Small differences in time, distance, equipment, and how the weight is counted can change your result. Check these details before choosing a calculator or comparing two carries.
20 meters or 30 seconds?
A 20-meter carry and a 30-second Farmer’s Walk are different tests. Choose the calculator that matches what you actually did.
How is the weight counted?
Check whether the calculator wants the combined weight, the weight in one hand, or the weight of one piece of equipment.
One-sided or two-sided?
Suitcase and single-arm overhead carries challenge your core and balance differently from carries with weight on both sides.
Where you hold the weight matters
Holding the weight at your sides, against your chest, at your shoulders, in your elbows, or overhead changes what the exercise demands.
Comparing two carry exercises
Comparison tools show how your strength ranks in each exercise. They do not mean the same number of pounds represents the same performance.
