Endura.coach is an independent strength-measurement and standards-tool publisher. We build practical calculators that help lifters turn a real training performance into a clear, exercise-specific point of reference—then understand what to do with it.

What Endura does

Strength is not one number, and a familiar exercise name is rarely enough. A barbell back squat, a paused squat, a machine-supported row, and a bodyweight hold each place different demands on the person doing them. Endura creates tools that treat those differences as part of the question, not as an afterthought.

Our calculators cover strength standards, estimated one-rep maxes, exercise comparisons, ratios, and selected fitness-test scoring. They are built to help you measure a performance, compare it with the right standard for that tool, identify a useful next target, and return later with a cleaner retest.

What you can expect from our tools

  • Exercise-specific definitions. Each tool explains the movement, equipment, range of motion, setup, and conditions it is designed to measure.
  • Transparent inputs and results. We show what the calculator uses and keep results tied to the performance you actually enter.
  • Useful comparisons, not interchangeable labels. A result is meaningful for the exact exercise and rules shown; it is not a universal verdict on your strength.
  • Practical next steps. Where appropriate, tools show the next standard, a nearby comparison, or the detail that makes a retest more useful.

How to use Endura well

Start with the tool that most closely matches the exercise you performed. Read its measurement rules before entering a set, use an honest result, and treat the output as a snapshot. The most valuable progress is not simply a larger number—it is a larger number achieved with the same exercise, setup, range, and control.

We also explain the method and limits behind our work in our Methodology. When a tool uses published rules or a source-specific scoring system, we aim to make that provenance visible. When a tool uses an exercise-specific model, we describe what it measures and what it does not claim to measure.

Our history

The work behind Endura began in 2009 with Stayfitcentral.com, a fitness site that started as a shopping guide for sports supplements and fitness equipment. Over time, the business grew through a supplement line, more than 1,000 fitness articles, and a workout tracker for Google Sheets.

That history taught us that useful fitness information must be clear, practical, and honest about its limits. Endura.coach is the next chapter: a dedicated home for tools that make strength measurement easier to understand and easier to use.

Why this work matters

Training decisions are better when the measurement is specific. A calculator should not quietly turn a partial rep into a full rep, treat two different exercises as identical, or make a medical or coaching promise it cannot support. We build Endura to help readers ask better questions of their own training data and get answers they can inspect.

About the business

Endura.coach is led by Curt Pedersen, Founder and President. We publish free tools and explanatory content for people who want a more precise way to understand strength performance—whether they are starting out, returning to training, coaching others, or refining an established program.
